This is a blog. Substack is a platform for bloggers. I had a blog on Word Press, which is another platform for people that want to share their interests with whom ever might be interested.
For me, blogging is more than a hobby, it is a way to share my feelings and my opinion with the world.
I did not make money out of my blog on Word Press which I had from 2014 until 2024. I don’t know if I ever will make money from a blog, but for me blogging it is more serious than just a hobby.
I follow people that write long newsletters here on Substack and they write once a few days. But I am experiencing a bit of writer’s block in the last few weeks.
I have 4 books started and all of them have like around 60 pages in. Three of them are similar and they were meant to be a series and one is different of them. The three books are so angry written and now I want to take my anger out and make them more positive.
Writing books is different from writing in a blog because the content can be a page long and may vary from a post to another, while a book has the same subject and story.
My posts on the blog are short because I don’t want to waste people’s time, which is the most expensive resource that we have. And I think I can be concise.
Seeing blogging as a hobby makes me sad because I wanted to make a living out of it. It takes time to come up with the posts and to write them. It is hard to get money from a blog and a lot of successful people tried it and failed.

Find a topic that you think you know more about and start writing.
